Comments: While this was not my first 7 string, this is my oldest still in my collection. I got it fairly cheap, and it definitely not in the best condition. The neck was not taken care of by its last owner, so the fretboard had started to shrink. The frets weren’t really sticking out the sides of the wood, since it is a bound neck, but the areas of wood between the frets were shrunken in, basically creating a wavy feeling along the neck. After some re-hydrating, sanding, and some fun luthiering on my part, I got it feeling pretty good. I put a Seymour Duncan Nazgul pickup in the bridge position. It sounds really good.
